In Your Arms

(written the day Oma passed away)

In Your arms Jesus I will wait
In Your arms Jesus I will stay
Hold me close
Hold me tighter
Be my comfort
Be my guide

In Your will Jesus I will wait
In Your will Jesus I will stay
Help me listen
Help me follow
Be my wisdom
Be my light

In Your love Jesus I will wait
In Your love Jesus I will stay
Heal my heart
Have my sorrow
Be my strength, Lord
Be my life

Your Amazing Love

It’s the depth of Your amazing love
That I just can’t comprehend
You would move the stars in heaven above
Just for me
It’s Your boundless compassion
I can’t understand
But You did it to set me free

(chorus)

It’s Your amazing love for me
Your amazing love
That lifted you up on Calvary
Your amazing love for me

I see Your hand at work in me
And still I am blown away
That a Mighty God would think of me
As worthy of His time
It’s Your grand orchestration
Your blessings each day
That’s why I testify

(chorus)

You went to the cross to save the world
But what brings me to my knees
If I was the only sinner on earth
You’d have done it all for me

(chorus)

That paid the price so I could be free
That gave me a reason to really believe
Your amazing love for me

Beyond Bethlehem

‘Twas on a night like this when the glory of the Lord
Came to the little town of Bethlehem.
‘Twas the coming of the King, The Babe worth worshipping,
The centre of the angels praise.
But His mother knew that day
That was not where He would stay.
No, her son would choose to go beyond.

He chose to go beyond Bethlehem for me
All the way to the cross of Calvary.
He bled and He died so that I’d be reconciled.
Oh, He chose to go beyond Bethlehem for me.

‘Twas on a night like this to the Father Jesus prayed,
In the garden of Gethsemane
With sweat like drops of blood and Satan’s tempting flood.
“Father, take this cup away from me.”
But His Father knew that day, that was not where he would stay.
No, His son would choose to go beyond.

He chose to go beyond Gethsemane for me
All the way to the cross of Calvary.
He bled and he died, so that I’d be reconciled.
Oh, He went beyond Gethsemane for me.

He could have stayed in heaven. He didn’t have to come.
But redemption’s work would never have been done
He chose to go beyond heaven for me
All the way to the cross of Calvary.
He bled and he died so that I’d be reconciled.
Oh he chose to go beyond heaven for you and for me.
He chose to go beyond to Calvary
The Lamb was crucified, so that we’d be reconciled
Oh, he chose to go beyond heaven; He chose to go beyond Bethlehem; He went beyond Gethsemane.
He chose to go beyond for you and me.

The Armor of God (Eph 6 : 10-17)

Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power
Take a stand against the devil
Put your armor on (2x)

(Verse one)

The breastplate of righteousness
The belt of truth
Feet of peace and the shield of faith
The helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit
Which is the Word of God

(verse two)

The battle that we're in is not against flesh and blood
The war that we're waging is a spiritual one.
Against the powers of darkness and the rulers of hell
So take a stand on your knees and put your armor on

I can do all things

I can do all things
Anything
Everything
Through Christ who gives me strength
All things
Anything
Everything
Through Him

In every situation
Place or nation
I have learned the secret of success
Is pure contentment
No resentment
In what Christ has given me

Though I am sick or healthy
Poor or wealthy
Any circumstance I'm in
The Lord is with me
And He gives me
Strength and joy to carry on

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
Phillipians 4:13

Never a memory

(chorus)
You never were a memory
Always my reality
No regrets
With you, I did things right
Never lived a day
That I could ever say
That choosing you
Was the saddest of my life

There's a pain, a deepest sorrow
That comes in someone's life
When love so close has died
Or walked away
Though many loves I've known like this
And many hearts in life I'll miss
There's one love
I know will always stay

(chorus)

Picking up the pieces
When you didn't break the glass
Will surely cause a soul
To cut and bleed
But 'til my life is o'er
This I'll alway know
An unrelenting love is what I need

(chorus)

I'll open up my heart again
But I know the tears I've cried
Won't dry 'til I'm safely by your side

You'll never be a memory
Always my reality
No regrets
With you, I do things right
Never will I live a day
That I can ever say
That choosing you
Is the saddest of my life
